The Insect Queen part 2 of 3Superman follows the trail of LexCorp's missing CEO Lana Lang to a mysterious hive on the moon, not far from the site where the baseball he batted into space is supposed to land. Inside the hive, Lana Lang discovers her captor is an insect queen who's taken her form. The Insect Queen tells Lana her origin of how she was expelled from her hive and plans to conquer Earth and return to rule her insect race with an army. Lana escapes from her cell and finds other LexCorp employees who have been trapped there since before Lex Luthor had become president.
Meanwhile back on Earth, Christopher becomes sick and with Clark gone Lois doesn't know who to call. She doesn't seem to think about the red sun watch that's suppressing his powers, and that turns out to be the apparent cause of his ailment. She takes the watch off, but he starts to discharge red energy and the whole apartment explodes.

Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes part 5 of 6Relying on a plan devised by the Legion of Substitute Heroes, Superman and the Legionnaires attack the headquarters of Earthman's Justice League. The Subs crash through first in a school bus and engage the Justice League, buying the Legion time to sneak inside and find what they're looking for. Brainiac discovers that Earthman's story that Superman isn't an alien was based on an authentic 21st century artifact that somebody must have planted. They find out their teammates have been held prisoner so Earthman can continue to leach their powers, and Sun Boy is still being used to keep Earth's sun red. Before they can free him, they're attacked by Earthman who was disguised as Chameleon Girl. With no powers and only a Legion flight ring, Superman hurls Earthman out the window, plunging them both into space.
Superman/Batman #46
K part 3 of 6In their mission to rid the world of all forms of Kryptonite, Superman and Batman follow the radiation signature of a strange new variety to the Oblivion Bar where most of DC's magical characters hang out. Superman is exposed to a new form of magical Kryptonite that makes him see the rest of the JLA as children, and he seems to think he is one too. Hilariously Red Tornado resembles a LEGO man. Zatanna and Batman go to Dinosaur Island to find the other half of the Kryptonite artifact that will cancel out its effects on Superman, leaving the Man of Steel at the JLA Watchtower to play video games, eat cereal, and cause trouble. They bring back the rest of the rock and Superman returns to normal. Zatanna explains it as a spell and counter spell, although Batman still doesn't accept the explanation as magical.
